When I am going on a vacation, I usually stay at any of the Marriotts. There are plenty of Marriotts you can stay at all around the Globe . The different Marriotts are the Courtyard, Renaissance, Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, Springhill Suites and Townplace Suites. Marriotts offer my great amenities for you and your family. For the most part, the Marriott has great packages. Also you can become a member of Marriott Rewards. You can sign up for a card and receive points everytime you stay at any of the Marriott Hotels and that can also go towards your next trip or you can buy get prizes with the card.
According to fivestaralliance.com, they have the best luxury hotels of 2007. Even though that was two years ago, I am quite positive the luxurious part of these hotels have not changed much. On this website they have the Worlds Best Spa , Romantic, Ski, Beach and Honeymoon Resorts. They have resorts from all over the world. Raquel's top 5 WONDERFUL states to visit in the U.S.

Have you ever been on a vacation and you never wanted to leave? Well I have been on plenty of trips and every vacation I have been on I felt like that. To me the top 5 states to visited in the US are New York, Florida, Washington D.C., Arizona and Hawaii.

1.)New York is a big state with 5 different boroughs. Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island are all the boroughs in New York. Each possessing a different taste of New York. New York is a fast pace city full of diverse, outspoken and trend-setting people. Not to mention, the Broadway shows are FABULOUS!

2.)Florida is going to be my hometown in the next 5 years. In particular, Miami(South Beach) and Orlando are the cities you would like to visit. If you love clubbing/partying-hard, visiting Walt Disney, eating Latino food and other Caribbean cuisines and relaxing on the beaches, Florida is the way to go. Also remember being bilingual(meaning knowing Espanol) is a plus!

3.)Washington D.C. is where our great president lives. Washington D.C. is a great place to explore with family. When thinking of Washington D.C, everyone usually correlates their thinking to the White House, the Washington Monument and the Capital but little did you know Washington D.C. has many great museums. Such as the Holocaust museum and the Air & Space museum. Also dont forget the National Zoo is great for the children!

4.) When thinking about Arizona, the first word that comes to mind is HOTTTTT!. Even though, Arizona is extremely hot, there are plenty of great places to view. If you love nature,the Grand Canyon is a site too see! The Grand Canyon is one of first national parks in the United States and its just a beautiful site to see. Arizona also has plenty of fun activities to do when visiting. Such as skydiving, taking hikes and going on balloon rides! UP UP AND AWAY!!!!!!!

5.) Finally a peaceful place I call paradise.......HAWAII. Hawaii is just a peaceful and stress-free island. The 4 fun places to visit (especially if your a tourist) are Maui, Kauai, Oahu, and the Big Place. There is plenty of great beaches, loving people and restaurants to visit. Also the weather and atmosphere is usually EXTRAVAGANT!

Latest Trip

The year of 09' has not been my year to do the most traveling. I have been very busy with work and school and yet haven't found the time for a VACATION! THATS CRAZY TALK! May I add the last trip I went on was in the summer of 08' and my brother and I went to Queens, New York to visited my family. I LOVE NEW YORK! I went to NY for one week and it was a memorable trip. My brother and I visited all the boroughs. From Queens to Manhattan, we went everywhere! The TOP must see sites in New York are : Empire State Building, Time Square, Central Park (NY), Rockfeller Center, New York Metropolitan Museum and the list can go on and on. With that being said, "New York is one of the best states to visit".
