A Few Relaxing Islands to Visit with Great Beaches

Being a lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor, I must admit I love swimming. Going to the city pool is totally different than going to the beach. I love going to the beach! When I go to beach, I love swimming, eating, tanning and relaxing. I have been to a few beaches in California, Florida and New York but going to beaches outside the United States are the best. I remember going to Dominican Republic and I went a beach called Puerto Plata. I loved that beach it was so much fun. The people were sooo nice ,the food was great and the weather was excellent! Honestly, I believe the best beaches are in the Caribbean. According to Expedia, the top islands to visit in Carribean with the best beaches are Jamaica, Barbados, Barbuda, Guadeloupe, Nevis, St. John,U.S. Virgin Islands,St Lucia and Tortola British Virgin Islands. Reading about each beach made me want to move immediately! Check out the beaches and ticket rates on www.expedia.com

Happy Traveling!!!!!!!

  1. I love beaches too!!! I agree that some of the beaches outside of America are really spectacular. I've been to quite a few beached outside the US, namely in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, India, the Netherlands, and in Southern France. While they were all beautiful, I think the one in France was my favorite. An absolutely picturesque beach it was!

  2. If you want to swim and enjoy water sports, white sand beaches and warm, blue water are terrific. But, I love the magnificent rugged beauty and salty sea air of the Pacific Northwest coastline!

  3. I love going to the beach. There's something refreshing about lying in the sand with your eyes closed and listening to the water crash around you. I will definitely have to check out these places to visit. I usually am only able to travel to CA for the beach but going to an island getaway would be perfect. Thanks for the tip!
